TAIZ, Feb. 18 (Saba) – The army and popular forces hit US-Saudi-paid mercenaries' gatherings in areas of Taiz province, a military official told Saba on Saturday.

The official said that nine of the Saudi-paid mercenaries.were killed in al-Jahmalih, Salah valley, al-tabah al-Sawda, Kalabah and al-Wakail areas when the national army launched an attack on these areas.

The missile units of the army and popular forces fired Katyusha on the gatherings in southern al-Jadid area in al-Mokha district.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled the other gatherings in al-Makalkal hilltop and destroyed military vehicle of the mercenaries in al-Kadahah area of Mqbana district, the official added.

The official said the army and popular forces foiled mercenaries' infiltration towards al-Tabaisha'a, al-Haram and al-Seed areas of Habashi Mountain district.
