KUWAIT, June 09 (Saba) – The national delegation held late on Wednesday a consultation session with the UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed in Bayan Palace in Kuwait.
The session discussed proposals on the consensual authority for all the executive institutions of the state and the presidency institution.
The formation of a consensual government and a military and security committee to oversee the security and military institutions in all provinces of the country was also discussed in the meeting, as well as the formation of a committee of guarantees to follow up what will be agreed upon.
The national delegation also discussed with Ould Cheikh lifting of the economic siege on the Yemeni people and the need to put an end to the suffering of the Yemeni travelers at the airports.
In this aspect, the national delegation demanded quick arrangements to address the economic situation and to push the political process forward.
The national delegation protested on the procrastination of Riyadh's delegation in the file of prisoners through fabricating side issues and criticized the lack of seriousness of the United Nations in this humanitarian file.
The delegation stressed the need to start practical steps with regard to the release of prisoners and detainees and to pressure on Riyadh's delegation who shows clear obstinacy towards this file.
The national delegation underlined the need to stop the aggression's continuous breaches to the cease-fire through the continued air raids and military reinforcements in fronts, which it said contributes to the complexity of the situation and increases the suffering of the citizens.
