Sana'a - Saba:
The Women’s Preparatory Committee for the Prophet’s Birthday on Tuesday launched celebrations marking the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in all free governorates.
Committee member Amal al-Hamzi highlighted the event as a vital platform for spiritual, educational, and cultural enrichment, urging adherence to the Prophet’s guidance amid current challenges. She praised Yemeni women’s active role in supporting the Palestinian cause through protests, awareness campaigns, and financial contributions.
According to al-Hamzi, women have organized 22,286 activities and small protests, 657,894 cultural seminars, 898 central events, and 128 financial convoys in support of the Yemeni Armed Forces and Gaza.
Committee member Manal al-Makhadi outlined a nationwide program of more than 5,000 mawlid gatherings, hundreds of preparatory events, cultural competitions, educational councils, and exhibitions. These will culminate in central rallies in solidarity with Palestine and in support of Yemeni military operations.
