The Board of Trustees of Al-Bayda University, in its regular meeting today chaired by Board President Amin Jumaan, discussed the university's strategic plan, its short- and long-term goals, and the proposed implementation mechanism.
The meeting, attended by board members and University President Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, addressed the progress of the educational process at the university, steps taken to enhance academic and administrative performance, the achievements and projects accomplished in the past period—most notably infrastructure development, digital transformation, and e-transition initiatives.
The session reviewed the final financial report for the previous fiscal year, along with related financial and administrative reports, approving the final accounts and emphasizing the importance of financial resource development.
The Board also heard a report from the university president regarding the exceptional salary disbursement mechanism, the challenges of ensuring regular salary payments under current circumstances, and practical proposals to sustain the educational process while safeguarding academic and administrative staff from adverse effects.
Additionally, the meeting discussed preparations for Al-Bayda University’s sixth scientific conference, extending the deadline for research submissions and confirming the conference date, set for 15 Rabi al-Thani 1447 AH / October 7, 2025 AD.
The Board praised the efforts of the university’s leadership and staff in implementing development projects, improving academic and administrative performance, and enhancing the educational process. It stressed the importance of sustaining and advancing these projects in line with the university’s future vision.
The meeting affirmed full and absolute authorization to the Revolution Leader , Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, in leading the battle of "The Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad" toward liberating the nation from dependency, domination, and guardianship, while elevating public consciousness toward victory, dignity, and empowerment.
