The local authority and the Mobilization Office in Bura District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, today launched activities to commemorate the Prophet’s Birthday for the year 1447 AH under the slogan “At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.”
Speakers at the event, attended by the district director, stressed that commemorating the occasion is a renewed spiritual milestone in which the nation reaffirms its loyalty to the Prophet ﷺ and adherence to his message, which brought humanity from darkness into light. They noted that the people of Bura have always been at the forefront of celebrating this great occasion annually with a fervor befitting the status of the Seal of the Prophets, adding that this year will see more diverse and participatory activities reflecting a deep connection to faith-based identity.
They explained that this popular movement comes amid campaigns to distort Islam and global challenges that call for a sincere return to the authentic Muhammadan path, affirming that the Prophet’s eternal message is the nation’s path to liberation from domination and tyranny. The speakers emphasized the importance of active participation in the celebrations to embody societal cohesion in the face of cultural and intellectual invasion and to reaffirm the people’s steadfastness on the values and principles brought by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The event was attended by local leaders, community figures, scholars, and a crowd of citizens.
