Rabat - Saba:
Hundreds of doctors in Morocco announced a one-day hunger strike yesterday evening, Thursday, to protest the Israeli starvation of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

This came in response to a call from the Moroccan non-governmental organization "Doctors for Palestine."
Moroccan doctor Ahmed Zeroual, participating in the strike, told Anadolu Agency, "This hunger strike will last for one day and aims to show solidarity with medical personnel in Gaza and to protest the starvation imposed by the enemy on the Palestinians."
Zeroual added that this strike "also comes within the context of global solidarity with the Palestinian cause."
