Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across parts of several governorates, and rough seas due to strong winds over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected over parts of the governorates of Dhale'a, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Hajjah, Mahwit, Amran, Saada, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely over parts of the governorates of Bayda, western Sana'a, and Jawf, as well as the highlands of Lahj and Abyan.
According to the center, winds may be strong to very strong around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rain that fell over the past 24 hours, as measured at meteorological stations in Ba'dan, reached 100. Ibb: 23.0 mm, Taiz: 16.2 mm, Mahwit: 1.5 mm, Hajjah: 1.4 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms, crossing or staying in floodwaters during and after rainfall, mudslides, rockfalls, reduced visibility due to rainfall, and fog formation on mountain roads.
It also warned seagoers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
