Ramallah – Saba:
Israeli occupation forces demolished a café on Wednesday evening in the town of Beit Liqya, west of Ramallah, as part of ongoing measures to pressure and restrict Palestinian residents.
According to security sources cited by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), a unit of the Israeli military raided the town and demolished the café, located near the Olive Roundabout and owned by a member of the Assi family, without prior notice.
This act is part of a broader and escalating campaign by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank, which includes the systematic demolition of homes, commercial properties, and agricultural structures under the pretext of “lack of permits.” At the same time, Israeli authorities continue to deny building permits to Palestinians, in what rights groups and observers describe as a policy aimed at forced displacement and altering the demographic landscape to advance settlement expansion plans.
