New York - Saba:
Human Rights Watch confirmed on Friday that the aid distribution system in Gaza has turned into a regular bloodbath.
In a statement, the organization said, "Israel's killing of Palestinians seeking food is a war crime," noting that the US-backed Israeli army and contractors have established a flawed military aid distribution system in Gaza.
Human Rights Watch documented the deaths of at least 859 Palestinians while attempting to obtain aid between May 27 and July 31.
The international organization added that "the dire humanitarian situation is a direct result of Israel's use of starvation of civilians as a weapon of war."
The organization called on countries around the world to pressure the enemy entity to lift the unlawful, blanket restrictions on the entry of aid into Gaza.
