Jawf - Saba:
Yemeni tribal leaders welcomed on Thursday Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Al-Zaidi in the Al-Mahashama area of Khabb and Al-Sha’af district in Al-Jawf province.
Sheikh Al-Zaidi had been detained by Saudi-backed mercenaries at the Sarfit crossing in Al-Ghaydah city, Al-Mahra province, while traveling for medical treatment.
This comes after the tribal mobilization declared by the seven Tayyal tribes of Khawlan and Yemeni tribes in general, who took up arms and marched toward the desert. Some continued their journey to Al-Mahra province and returned with Sheikh Al-Zaidi—a stance that reflects the customs, traditions, and unwavering positions of Yemeni tribes.
The tribes reaffirmed their rejection of all foreign practices imposed on Yemeni society, including the arbitrary detention of travelers in any region or province.
Those who received Sheikh Al-Zaidi expressed gratitude to all who contributed to his release, praising the solidarity of various tribes that responded to the mobilization and stood firmly against the crime of detaining travelers.
