Hodeidah - Saba:
The city of Al-Hodeidah and the district of Ad-Durayhimi witnessed two cultural events and women’s rallies on Wednesday in commemoration of the arrival of Imam Al-Hadi Yahya bin Al-Hussein to Yemen.
The events also reaffirmed continued popular solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
In Al-Hodeidah city, the Women’s Authority organized a cultural event under the slogan “Imam of Knowledge and Jihad.” Participants highlighted the historical significance of Imam Al-Hadi’s arrival and his role in establishing justice, promoting knowledge, and confronting deviation.
Speeches at the event emphasized the importance of reviving this occasion to strengthen Yemeni women’s awareness of their educational and cultural responsibilities, and to uphold the faith-based identity and moral values embodied by Imam Al-Hadi.
Following the event, a solidarity stand was held in which participants affirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people in the face of Zionist aggression on Gaza. They also praised the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of Gaza, which they said has been abandoned by Arab and Muslim governments.
A similar cultural event was held in Ad-Durayhimi district, focusing on the symbolic significance of Imam Al-Hadi’s arrival and the transformative impact it had on guiding the community along a path of awareness and righteous leadership.
Participants called for strengthening women’s cultural presence in confronting challenges, and intensifying efforts to build social awareness that protects families from the soft war targeting Yemeni identity.
After the event, a protest was organized in which the participants expressed full solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemned the international silence regarding the crimes committed against civilians in Gaza.
Chants were raised affirming the steadfast popular stance against the Zionist entity, calling for continued support to the battlefronts, and reinforcing the role of women in the struggle for resilience and mobilization.
Participants also stressed the importance of continuing to commemorate religious and national occasions, following the path of historical figures in confronting tyranny, and enhancing public and cultural awareness.
