Amran - Saba:
Students of Amran University staged a mass rally on Wednesday to denounce the ongoing genocide and starvation crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza, under the slogan “We will not stand idle before the genocide of Gaza and the violation of the nation and its sanctities.”
The rally was led by Governor Dr. Faisal Jamaan, University Rector Dr. Mohammed Dhula’i, Vice Rectors Dr. Ali Sharaf al-Din and Dr. Abdulfattah al-Quras, along with a number of officials and academics. Participants raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the Zionist enemy.
Students hailed the qualitative military operations carried out by the Armed Forces in support of Palestine, affirming their unwavering solidarity with Gaza and the resistance regardless of the cost.
They also welcomed the announcement of the fourth escalation phase against the Zionist enemy, vowing continued support for the oppressed people of Gaza until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted.
The students held the US administration, particularly former President Trump, and the leaders of the Zionist entity fully responsible for the genocide, starvation, and massacres against the Palestinian people, while strongly condemning the shameful Arab and Islamic silence.
A statement issued during the rally expressed deep sorrow over the crimes in Gaza, denouncing the systematic starvation and the betrayal of complicit regimes that hinder support and block the path of free fighters seeking to liberate Palestine.
The statement lamented the inaction of Arab regimes, who watch part of the nation being slaughtered and deprived of food and water under the world’s gaze, without lifting a finger.
It also held US and Zionist leaders accountable for using starvation as a weapon of genocide, calling it a crime that shatters all false claims of rights, freedoms, and moral values, adding that history will remember it as one of the most heinous atrocities ever committed in full view of the world.
The statement condemned the complicity of silent Arab rulers and reaffirmed confidence in the leadership's sincerity and readiness to take all necessary measures in defense of Gaza.
It concluded by reaffirming Yemen’s official and popular commitment to supporting Gaza and Palestine as part of its deep-rooted faith identity and belief in the righteousness and eventual victory of this path.
