Sana’a – SABA:

Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Sa’adi, along with Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bakheiti, officially launched the issuance of graduate documents through the unified electronic system “SAR” at Azal University for Human Development.

During their visit, the two officials were briefed on the system’s functionality, objectives, and features—particularly its role in enhancing governance, transparency in academic and administrative operations, improving education quality, and streamlining the issuance of graduate certificates while ensuring adherence to academic standards across all disciplines.

University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Oqeili explained that the SAR academic information system is designed to simplify student registration and admission processes, manage financial and academic records, schedule lectures and exams, and generate reports and graduate documents efficiently.

Minister Al-Sa’adi praised the efforts of the university’s leadership and staff for their commitment to institutional reform, culminating in the launch of the SAR-based graduate document issuance. He emphasized the ministry’s support for the university’s development, calling on its leadership to continue progress in line with a clear vision aimed at improving educational outcomes and aligning graduates with labor market needs.

Dr. Zakaria Al-Shoaibi, Advisor to the University President for Student Affairs, noted that the SAR system was developed under the ministry’s supervision to regulate the relationship between universities and the ministry, facilitate accreditation procedures, and support performance evaluation. He highlighted the system’s benefits in improving administrative efficiency, saving time and effort, and enabling students and faculty to easily access information and track academic performance.

During the launch ceremony, attended by Dr. Fouad Abdulrazzaq, Executive Director of the Information Technology Center, the Minister issued the first certified graduate certificate through the SAR system to student Uday Abdullah Nasser from Hadramawt.

The minister and his delegation also inspected the university’s medical laboratories and reviewed the educational program for students with hearing and speech impairments.
