Sana'a -Saba:

First Deputy Prime Minister Scholar Mohammad Miftah urged on Monday everyone to exert their utmost efforts to ensure outstanding preparations for the upcoming celebrations of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, befitting this great occasion in the history of the nation.

During the first preparatory meeting held with administrative and community leaders of the Capital Sana'a to plan for the 1447 Hijri celebrations, Miftah noted that the Arabian Peninsula has not witnessed such massive public gatherings as those seen in the capital Sana'a in recent years for the Prophet’s birthday commemoration.

He emphasized the importance of making this year’s celebration larger than previous years, especially as Yemen is currently in a more distinguished position than before, with Sana'a becoming a leading center of influence in the Islamic world.

Miftah highlighted that the large-scale gatherings in Sana'a during previous Prophet’s birthday celebrations had a positive impact on several Islamic countries, which now emulate Yemen in holding grand events for this significant occasion.

He described the Capital Sana'a as a role model for other governorates, noting that success in its initiatives positively reflects on the rest of the country. He praised the activities and celebrations held across the capital’s districts last year.

He stressed the need for executive offices and relevant bodies to exert necessary efforts to set an exemplary standard in welcoming the Prophet’s birthday and underlined the importance of engaging with various public events related to the occasion.

Miftah also affirmed that Yemen is currently at the forefront, issuing and implementing historic and decisive resolutions in support of the nation’s causes, foremost among them the Palestinian issue, motivating Yemenis to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday like never before.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development Mohammad al-Madani highlighted the importance of cooperation and unity in preparing suitable arrangements for the grand celebratory activities on the occasion.

He commended the Capital Sana'a's leadership for completing the establishment of cooperative societies in its districts, emphasizing the revival of cooperative work across the capital and other governorates to serve societal goals and ensure the success of all activities and events.

Al-Madani confirmed the ministry’s readiness to collaborate with local authorities to make this year’s Prophet’s birthday celebrations among the strongest and grandest to date.

For his part, Capital Secretary, Dr. Hamoud Obad expressed keenness for Sana'a to be presented in its finest form to welcome the celebrations.

He affirmed that administrative and community leaders in the capital are prepared to exert their utmost efforts in preparing for the religious occasion’s activities and celebrations at the neighborhood, district, and central levels.

First Deputy Secretary of the Capital Khaled al-Madani addressed the preparation process, highlighting the crucial role of community involvement in organizing events and celebrations.

He also emphasized the importance of awareness and educational efforts to mobilize energies and readiness for participation in various activities commemorating this great occasion.
