Northern Jordan Valley – Saba:
Israeli enemy settlers on Monday morning fenced off Palestinian land near residents’ tents and homes in Khirbet Naba’ Ghazal al-Farisiyya, northern Jordan Valley, after recently seizing it, according to the Palestinian Safa News Agency.
Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights stated that settler groups continue fencing off the confiscated lands, posing a direct threat to the lifestyle of the local Bedouin population who rely on the area for grazing and agriculture.
The organization added that such actions reflect growing efforts to impose a new reality at the expense of the indigenous population, amid a lack of protection for their rights and properties.
In a related development, settlers also stole a water tanker and slashed the tires of a tractor in the al-Maita area of the northern Jordan Valley.
Hassan Mleihat, general supervisor of al-Baydar Organization, said these attacks aim to pressure local farmers and deprive them of vital water sources, especially during high temperatures and ongoing water scarcity in the region.
