Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in Sana'a Governorate, chaired by the Governorate's Technical Affairs Deputy, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntaser, discussed ways to develop work in the Public Works sector and its branches in various districts.

The meeting, attended by the Administrative Body member and Head of the Planning and Finance Committee, Abdul Salam Al-Jaifi, and the Governorate's Deputy, Mohammed Aydh, addressed the reasons for the delay in submitting the annual report for the past year, 1446 AH.

Participants emphasized the importance of adhering to timely submission of periodic reports, accompanied by necessary recommendations and solutions to overcome challenges facing the sector.

They also reviewed the progress of road construction in border districts and the role of the Public Works Department in implementing and supervising these projects.

The meeting discussed the role of the Public Works sector and its branches in overseeing the construction of residential towers to prevent future damages, stressing the need for cooperation with the technical committee to carry out its tasks and limit random construction.

Attendees affirmed their commitment to implementing legal opinions regarding technical licensing procedures across branches to address shortcomings, correct work processes, eliminate all negatives, and improve the services provided by the Public Works sector.

During the meeting, Deputy Al-Muntaser stressed the need to double efforts and uphold a sense of responsibility to enhance service and functional performance, facilitate citizens' transactions, reduce randomness and violations.

For his part, the head of the Public Works sector in the governorate, Engineer Mohammed Ashia, highlighted ongoing efforts to monitor and improve the performance of departments, working as one team to deliver services, safeguard public rights, and resolve issues, emphasizing that negligence and misconduct will not be tolerated.
