Amran - Saba
A meeting was held in Amran Governorate, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaman, to discuss the operational mechanisms for community initiative projects through multi-purpose agricultural cooperative associations.
The meeting included Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Mohammed Al-Qahoom; representative of the Emergency Central Development Interventions Unit in the governorate, Engineer Hashem Al-Raidi; Social Affairs Office Director Ibrahim Al-Dharhani; Director of Raydah District Aqil Sharif; and Chairman of Al-Bawn Al-Shamali Association Ahmed Ayash. The participants reviewed matters related to changing the name and scope of the association to become the Raydah Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association.
It was agreed during the meeting to set up an accounting system and finalize the association’s financial report in coordination with the Bonyan Foundation and the Agricultural Cooperative Union.
Governor Jaman stressed the vital developmental role expected of this and other cooperative associations, particularly in advancing the agricultural sector and promoting broader development efforts. He reiterated the local authority’s commitment to supporting these associations to help them mobilize and coordinate resources in service of development goals.
