Dhamar - Saba:
The Jabal Al-Sharq Multifunctional Agricultural Cooperative Association and the local authority in Jabal Al-Sharq District, Dhamar Governorate, launched the distribution of a quantity of cement and diesel provided by the Central Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit to support community initiative projects in the district.
The support includes 2,462 sacks of cement and 35,000 liters of diesel under the Road Expansion, Quality Improvement, and Sustainability Program – Direct Intervention, in addition to 5,000 liters of diesel for community initiative projects.
During the launch, the Central Interventions Unit team emphasized that the distribution of new quantities of cement and diesel comes as part of efforts to support community initiatives, achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in the most needy remote areas. They highlighted the role of the Jabal Al-Sharq Agricultural Cooperative Association in mobilizing the community and harnessing resources to achieve development.
For his part, Dr. Fahad Al-Muthanna, Chairman of the Jabal Al-Sharq Agricultural Cooperative Association, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development, the local authority in the governorate, and the Central Interventions Unit in supporting , encouraging the community to adopt and implement projects by providing cement and diesel.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Sunni, Director of Community Initiatives, stressed the importance of activating the role of initiatives as a supportive partner to official efforts in implementing service and developmental projects, appreciating the community’s interaction in accomplishing these projects.
In turn, heads of community committees expressed gratitude to the association and the Central Interventions Unit for supporting initiative projects, calling for an expansion of interventions to cover various fields.
