President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Friday extended his deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to the great Yemeni people for their massive and awe-inspiring participation in nationwide rallies, particularly the overflowing scenes witnessed in al-Sabeen Square in the Capital and other major squares across the country.
The rallies came in response to the call of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, whose steadfast faith, courage, and unwavering positions were reflected in the overwhelming popular response.
In his message to the proud Yemeni people and the millions who took to the streets, President al-Mashat stated:
"You have truly proven that you are the people of faith and wisdom, shining with noble qualities in a time when betrayal prevails, retreat is common, and support is rare."
The President added, "Your message today is a clear testament to your support for the oppressed — men, women, and children — in Gaza, who remain steadfast in the face of a savage Zionist aggression that employs every tool of killing and starvation, with malignant American backing and a painful Arab and Islamic silence."
President al-Mashat stressed the significance of this massive turnout, saying it strengthens the resolve of the Palestinian people and bolsters the morale of resistance fighters.
He emphasized that Yemen’s stance sets a powerful example for other Arab and Islamic nations to follow in applying pressure on the criminal Israeli entity to end its genocide against the people of Gaza.
