The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirmed on Friday that "the Resistance, through its steadfastness and diverse tactics, is disrupting the enemy’s calculations, seizing the initiative, and surprising it daily with new tactics it cannot comprehend or counter—despite its attempts to subjugate the people through starvation and siege."
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas said, "The occupation is piling up failures, and its war on Gaza is nothing but a reflection of its defeat on all fronts. This historic battle will remain etched in the memory of the conflict as a strategic turning point that exposes the growing fragility of this entity and lays bare its crimes of killing, starvation, and genocide."
The movement added, "The famine imposed by the occupation on the Gaza Strip is a deliberate crime against humanity, using food as a weapon of war to subdue a resilient people. We call for urgent popular and official action to halt this heinous crime and save hundreds of thousands of besieged, starving people."
Hamas continued, "After the occupation’s failure to free prisoners by force, the only path left is a deal with the Resistance—on its own terms and will—ensuring full, just national and humanitarian rights, foremost among them lifting the siege and ending the policy of mass starvation."
