Seoul - Saba:
South Korean authorities announced on Thursday that one person died and more than 100 others were evacuated following heavy rains.

The South Korean Ministry of the Interior and Safety stated that since yesterday and until this morning, parts of the southern Chongqing region, located south of the capital, Seoul, have been inundated with more than 400 millimeters of rain.

Landslide warnings have been issued for several areas, including Chongqing, as the heavy rains continue.

The official Yonhap news agency reported that two people trapped by a landslide in the Chongqing region were rescued.
