Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered and variable rainfall across several provinces over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected across parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Dhale'a, Bayda, the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and the Hadramaut Plateau.
Scattered rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected across parts of the governorates of Sana'a, Mahwit, Hajjah, Amran, Saada, and the highlands of the Tihama Plain.
The center noted active to strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Ibb over the past 24 hours was 40.3 mm, Ataq-Shabwa: 4.6 mm, Tur Al-Baha-Lahj: 0.7 mm, and Al-Mahwit: 0.4 mm.
The center warned citizens against staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall, and against crossing over land bridges during rainfall and flash floods. It urged people to take shelter from thunderstorms.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the southern and eastern coasts.
