Hebron – Saba:
A Palestinian citizen was killed, and eight others were injured—one critically—on Thursday after being shot by Zionist settlers in Surif, north of Hebron, in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of citizen Mohammed Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Hour (48 years old) and the critical injury of another due to settlers' gunfire in Surif.
Meanwhile, the official Palestinian news agency cited Hazem Ghneimat, the mayor of Surif, stating that a group of armed Zionist settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, opened live fire on Palestinian citizens in the "Al-Qaraynat" area while they were attempting to extinguish a fire set by settlers on Palestinian-owned land.
He explained that this led to the death of one citizen and the injury of eight others, including one in critical condition. Some of the wounded were transferred to nearby hospitals, while others are still receiving treatment at a medical center in the town.
