Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Authority warns of dangers of continued ban on lawyers visiting detainees

Ramallah - Saba:

The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Authority warned on Thursday of the dangers of the continued ban on lawyers visiting detainees by the Israeli occupation authorities.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), this ban weakens the ability to monitor their health conditions, given the spread of diseases and epidemics and the repressive measures they are subjected to.

The Authority announced last Monday that the Israeli prison administration had decided to cancel lawyers' visits to detainees until further notice. This decision comes in light of the exceptional circumstances the detainees have been experiencing since the start of the genocide, exacerbating their isolation and increasing anxiety and risks to their fate.
