Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro asserted that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, are the only leaders capable of ending the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel.
Maduro explained in a television program that Putin and Xi Jinping possess the strength and wisdom necessary to maintain global balance, achieve a ceasefire, and begin negotiations leading to a lasting peace agreement.
He emphasized Iran's right to defend itself, warning of the possibility of closing the Strait of Hormuz if Israeli attacks on Iranian territory continue.
He added that Iran will take all necessary measures to protect its people if Israeli attacks continue.
