Gaza - Saba:
The director of Medical Relief in the northern Gaza Strip, Mohammed Abu Afash, revealed on Sunday that there are growing fears of the spread of serious diseases such as cholera, in light of the complete collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestine Today News Agency, Abu Afash explained that toxic substances have been recorded in the soil as a result of the enemy's use of internationally prohibited weapons.
He explained that the enemy authorities have continued to prevent the entry of medicines and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip for more than 100 days.
He pointed out that thousands of citizens, especially children, are suffering from a widespread wave of illnesses due to severe overcrowding in shelters, the spread of mosquitoes, high temperatures, and a scarcity of clean water.
