Mahweet – Saba:
Mahweet governorate on Saturday held public events in 12 squares to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah, under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master."
Participants affirmed adherence to the principle of al-Wilayah as a "strong fortress protecting the nation from allegiance to its enemies."
The participants, delivered by officials including Deputy Minister of Electricity Adel Bader, highlighted the importance of drawing lessons from Imam Ali's life to reconnect the nation with him and the leaders of guidance, enabling it to confront enemies.
The commemoration was seen as renewing loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, embodying Yemenis' love for him, and emphasizing his morals in confronting tyranny and strengthening national cohesion.
The events praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations against the Zionist enemy in support of Palestinians, viewing this stance as embodying Yemeni authenticity and commitment to national issues.
The participants also condemned Zionist aggression against Iran and the silence of Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the genocide in Gaza. The gatherings featured poems and folklore performances.
