Hamas condemned a horrific massacre perpetrated by the Zionist enemy army early Saturday morning, in which over fifteen Palestinian civilians were killed while attempting to obtain food aid near a US-Israeli checkpoint in central Gaza.
In a statement, Hamas asserted that this incident reveals the ugly criminal face of the occupation and confirms once again that the occupation is using hunger as a weapon of war, transforming aid distribution sites into mass death traps for innocent civilians.
The movement further accused the government of war criminal Netanyahu of utilizing humanitarian aid and starvation as tools for killing and humiliating civilians, labeling it an unprecedented brutal crime and a flagrant violation of all human values, international conventions, and laws.
Hamas criticized the international silence regarding the ongoing genocide for nearly twenty months, stating that the normalization of daily killings of innocent starving people at the gates of American-Zionist checkpoints constitutes complicity in this crime.
The movement reiterated its call to the international community and Arab and Islamic countries for urgent action to halt the massacres in Gaza, end this bloody mechanism, break the unjust siege, and enforce the entry of aid through UN-approved mechanisms.
