Geneva – Saba:
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported on Thursday that women and girls in the Gaza Strip are enduring "humiliating suffering" due to harsh displacement conditions and Israel's genocide since October 7, 2023.
OCHA stated via X platform that "Palestinians are being killed daily in Gaza and that survivors of Israeli bombing are suffering from hunger due to insufficient aid.
The UN office reiterated that women and girls specifically face humiliating suffering under repeated displacement threats by the Israeli army.
The office warned that the ongoing Israeli blockade and prevention of fuel entry risk halting basic services in Gaza.
Israeli enemy military, with American and European support, has continued genocidal crimes since October 7, 2023, resulting in 55,207 Palestinian martyrs (mostly children and women) and 127,821 injured, with thousands more still under rubble.
