Sana'a – Saba:

Al-Wahda district in the Capital Sana'a on Wednesday organized a speech event to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah 1446 AH.

The event, attended by Ministry of Youth Undersecretary Dr. Ghassan al-Madani and District Director Sami Hamid, featured cultural activist Dr. Ahmed al-Shami, who emphasized the importance of instilling al-Wilayah values in society.

Al-Shami stated that allegiance to Imam Ali is the path to success, prosperity, and empowerment, asserting that Yemen's current achievements and support for Gaza against America and Israel stem from this allegiance. He stressed the need for a sincere return to allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali for national honor.

District Director Sami Hamid added that the commemoration reflects deep awareness of Imam Ali's status and the meanings of allegiance.

He attributed the Islamic nation's weakness to its failure to implement divine commands and praised Yemen's stances in supporting the Prophet and Imam Ali, confronting global arrogance, and aiding Palestinian resistance. Hamid urged broad participation in the central al-Wilayah event.
