Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Freedom Movement has praised the Arab and Western popular efforts to launch naval flotillas and land convoys to support and assist the oppressed people of the Gaza Strip and break the unjust siege.
In a statement, the movement considered the international influence of these popular campaigns and initiatives, such as the Madeleine ship and the Maghreb Steadfastness Convoy, to be embarrassing and putting great pressure on the Zionist enemy and the international community, which is drowning in its silence.
The statement urged all free peoples who support justice, reject injustice and oppression, and protect human rights to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and launch more convoys and fleets to break the arrogance of the Zionist enemy, expose it before the world, and expose its crimes and massacres.
It called for the immediate release of those detained on board the Free Madeleine ship and for them not to be harmed.
The statement condemned the forced detention of activists and the assault on their march toward Gaza, considering it a confirmation of the Zionist enemy's Nazism and its deliberate use of starvation as a weapon of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
It also called on the United Nations to hold the Zionist enemy accountable for its use of piracy, its seizure of a civilian ship in international waters, and its hijacking to the port of Ashdod, a complex war crime and a flagrant violation of international law. The movement also called on the United Nations to prosecute its leaders in international courts as perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The movement's statement welcomed the European move and the joint statement by the foreign ministers of Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and the United Kingdom, in which they announced the imposition of sanctions on the criminal extremists Ben-Gvir and Smotrich for their role in inciting violence against Palestinians, paving the way for their prosecution as war criminals in international forums.
It expressed its support for the popular movement and demonstrations in front of the Zionist entity's embassy in the Finnish capital, Helsinki. Protesters blocked the main train line in Geneva in solidarity with Gaza, as well as Italy's termination of its security contracts with Zionist companies.
The movement concluded its statement by saying, "We see this popular movement as a blow to the core and the beginning of an ideological reversal in Western and European doctrine against the Zionist narrative, and a shift toward the victimization of the Palestinian people."
