Sana'a – Saba:
The General Mobilization of the Women's Committee in the Capital Sana'a on Tuesday launched its activities to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah (Eid al-Ghadir) for the year 1446 AH, across all districts under the slogan "Whoever I am his guardian, then this Ali is his guardian."
At the launch, Ibtisam al-Muhatwari, Mobilization Officer and Director General of Women's Development at the Capital Head Office, emphasized the anniversary's importance in drawing lessons from Imam Ali's sacrifices and life, and their impact on believers.
She explained that the meeting aims to prepare for a commemoration befitting Imam Ali's status, urging broad participation in events and activities.
Al-Muhatwari noted that the Wilayat anniversary comes amid "enemies of Islam's attacks" on the nation, including "soft war" and the dissemination of "false cultures and destructive and deviant ideas" that distort Islam's true spirit.
Hanan al-Azzi, head of the Quranic Culture Unit, reviewed guidelines for commemorating the anniversary, calling for attention to the event and strengthening faith identity and Quranic culture within society.
