France demanded that Israeli entity return its citizens detained on Monday following the Israeli attack on "Madeleine" ship, which was carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and was carrying 12 international activists.
The French Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that it had contacted Israeli authorities regarding the six French citizens on board the ship and requested consular protection for them.
In another statement issued by the Élysée Palace, French President Emmanuel Macron called on Israeli enemy authorities to allow the return of the six French citizens on board "Madeleine."
Israeli enemy forces seized "Madeleine" ship as part of the "Freedom Flotilla," which was heading to the Gaza Strip to break the blockade and deliver humanitarian aid. They also arrested the activists on board of various nationalities.
