At least seven Palestinian citizens were martyred and others injured on Monday evening when the Israeli enemy army shelled a tent housing displaced persons west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that an Israeli enemy drone bombed a tent housing displaced persons in al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, killing and wounding the displaced Palestinians.

It also reported that Israeli enemy artillery shelled areas north of al-Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources confirmed that 51 citizens were killed as a result of Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 54,927 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 126,615 others. To date, this is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue crews.
