An air raid alert was declared in Ukraine on Tuesday morning, following a Russian attack that resulted in explosions in several Ukrainian regions overnight.
Air raid alert was initially declared in Sumy and Kharkiv (northern Ukraine), with an explosion heard in Sumy. The air raid alert was then extended to all of Ukraine.
Local Ukrainian reports indicated that a Kinzhal missile was fired at the southern Mykolaiv region.
This comes after airstrikes struck industrial and logistical facilities in southern, eastern, and northern Ukraine overnight.
There were reports of air raid sirens sounding in Sumy and Kharkiv regions, and an explosion was heard in Sumy late yesterday evening.
Air raid alert was also declared in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Odessa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The head of the military administration in the northern city of Chernigov reported that an industrial facility in the city was damaged by shelling.
Explosions occurred in Poltava, where a production facility was damaged, while Odessa experienced several explosions followed by fires in warehouses. There were also reports of damage to infrastructure sites in the Odessa port and a railway logistics center.
In Kharkiv, a drone attack resulted in fires that affected two warehouses and containers.
