Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights on Friday condemned in the strongest terms the repeated attacks by the Zionist entity on vital Yemeni ports, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry indicated that these Zionist attacks constitute a flagrant violation of Yemeni sovereignty and international law.
The Ministry affirmed Yemen's legitimate right to support the Palestinian people, who are subjected to systematic genocide and inhumane violations, considering such support a moral, legal, and religious duty in light of the international community's silence.
It also affirmed its full support for Yemen's right to defend itself and deter any external aggression, and its support for the political and military leadership's choices to take the necessary measures to safeguard national security and protect Yemeni interests.
It stated that the escalation of Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip, which have targeted civilians, children, and infrastructure, constitutes a war crime that requires immediate accountability.
The Ministry called on the international community and the United Nations to assume their legal and moral responsibilities by pressuring the Israeli enemy to immediately halt its aggression on Gaza, lift the unjust blockade, and hold the perpetrators of violations accountable.
It also issued an urgent appeal to international and regional organizations and the free people of the world to intensify material and moral support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, provide them with international protection, and support their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli military machine.
The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights emphasized that the rights of peoples will remain above all considerations, and that Yemen will always stand in the trench of truth and justice alongside all the oppressed, based on its humanitarian principles and national constants.
