Islamabad - Saba:
Pakistani security sources announced this morning to local Geo TV that the Pakistani armed forces have launched a large-scale military operation against India, described as a "direct response to the ongoing provocations from the Indian side."
The sources confirmed that the operation includes concentrated military strikes, without revealing further details about the targets or the targeted areas.
This escalation comes amid growing tensions between the two countries, following the April 22 attack near the town of Pahalgam in Indian-controlled Kashmir, which killed 25 Indians and a Nepalese citizen. New Delhi has accused Pakistani intelligence of involvement in the attack, a charge Islamabad has strongly denied.
