Sana'a - (Saba):
The Supreme Committee for the Merger and Modernization of Public Service Units discussed a number of topics and issues on its agenda during its meeting today chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi.

The committee reviewed the results of the work of the sectoral technical committees tasked with the merger and modernization of public service units, as well as the completed and remaining tasks and made appropriate decisions regarding them.

The Supreme Committee reviewed the draft organizational structures and regulations for the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and Transport and Public Works prepared by the sectoral technical committees.

The committee approved their referral for final review before submitting them to the relevant authorities to complete the procedures for their issuance in accordance with applicable laws.

The committee reviewed the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, regarding the completion of the remaining phases according to the approved methodology and based on the report on the completion of the inventory and analysis phase submitted to His Excellency.

The committee highly valued Prime Minister Al-Mashat's support and his commitment to completing all phases of the merger in a comprehensive manner that contributes to establishing the foundations of the radical change project by laying the foundations for a modern institutional structure addressing inflation, and eliminating organizational and functional deficiencies in the performance of state institutions.

The committee explained that this vital process includes the merger process and modernization of the organizational structure human resources material and financial capabilities the financial commitments and obligations of public service units systems information technology, databases, and networks, in addition to legal obligations and documents.

The Prime Minister praised the efforts of all committees tasked with completing the merger process and the level of cooperation and interaction of administrative leaders and employees in all public service units included in the merger and modernization. He urged everyone to redouble their efforts to complete the remaining tasks and procedures within the specified timeframes.

He stressed the need to fulfill all administrative, technical and legal arrangements necessary to implement the merger process in a clear and comprehensive manner that ensures keeping pace with the steps of the desired radical change in accordance with the leadership's directives. He pointed out that the new organizational structure will be based on the foundations of efficiency and effectiveness, which will lay the foundation for the remaining stages of administrative reform and development in all public service units in the manner desired by all.
