Taiz - Saba:
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid, and the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inspected a number of summer courses in the governorate on Wednesday.

Accompanied by Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Mohammed Al-Khulaidi, Mobilization Officer in the province, and Saeed Al-Sanafi, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Taiz, Al-Mawlid and Al-Masawi reviewed the progress of summer activities at several schools, including Al-Nour Asrar, Al-Furqan, Al-Saeed in Al-Samkar, and Imam Ali bin Abi Talib in Al-Ta’iziyah District.

The visitors received a briefing from the organizers of the summer schools about the activities, student participation in sports, recreational, and educational programs, as well as the efforts of teachers, students, and parents in ensuring the success of the courses.

During the visit, Minister Al-Mawlid emphasized the importance of summer activities in strengthening faith-based identity and promoting Quranic culture among the youth to protect them from the dangers of "soft war" and destructive ideologies.

He highlighted how the summer courses provide participants with opportunities to gain beneficial knowledge, life skills, engage in agricultural, sports, and recreational activities.

The Minister praised the efforts of the organizing committee, school administrators, and parents who encouraged their children to enroll in these programs. He urged those overseeing the courses to continue their dedication and coordination to ensure their success.

For his part, Acting Governor Al-Masawi stressed the role of summer courses in safeguarding students from misleading cultures and reinforcing their connection to faith, knowledge, and skills. He noted that the schools offer sports, awareness, cultural, and religious activities that equip students with essential life skills.
