The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine condemned the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians, including the targeting of schools and residential neighborhoods crowded with displaced persons in Gaza City.
These attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 59 civilians, most of them women and children. Meanwhile, the eastern neighborhoods of the city remain under continuous bombardment.
The movement said in a statement on Wednesday that the enemy had expanded its aggression to Lebanon, where it assassinated Hamas leader Khaled Ahmed al-Ahmad (Abu Ibrahim) in a treacherous operation, despite the declared truce in Lebanon.
This operation demonstrates the enemy's clear intention to undermine regional stability and turn Lebanon into an arena for ongoing assassinations.
It noted that this escalation coincides with the Trump administration's decision to merge the Palestinian Affairs Office into the US Embassy in Quds, which gives political impetus to the plan to annex the occupied West Bank and Quds.
She emphasized that the entire world now knows that the war of extermination waged by the entity for nearly twenty months against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip would not have occurred and would not have continued without unlimited American support, starting with the supply of weapons used by the enemy in its war crimes against the Palestinian people, and ending with the political cover and guarantees of impunity for the entity's criminals.
She warned that continued Arab and international silence on these crimes will only increase the brutality of the enemy's practices and the arrogance of its government, which openly declares its intention to change the Middle East and impose its hegemony over the countries and peoples of the region.
