Inas Hamdan, Director of the Public Information Office at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Gaza, confirmed that many women are forced to give birth in unsafe conditions.
Hamdan said in a statement that only nine fixed health centers and 38 mobile medical points remain operational in the Gaza Strip, amid a severe shortage of medical supplies.
