Gaza – Saba:
The World Food Programme announced on Saturday that food stocks inside the Gaza Strip have run out, warning of an imminent humanitarian disaster in light of the continued closure of all border crossings.
The programme confirmed in a post on X platform that life-saving aid is ready for distribution, but all border crossings with the Strip remain closed, preventing the entry of any food supplies.
It also stressed: We urgently need aid to enter the Gaza Strip.
International institutions, Arab and European countries are continuously calling for the urgent opening of the crossings and the entry of humanitarian supplies, warning that delaying this could lead to a large-scale humanitarian disaster.
The UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, Francesca Albanese, expressed her sorrow on Saturday over the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli starvation policies, saying, "Your hunger is our shame."
Since March 2, the Zionist enemy has closed the Gaza Strip's crossings to the entry of food, relief, medical aid, and goods, causing a significant deterioration in the humanitarian situation there.
