The sports tournament for model and open summer schools was launched today in Jihanah District, Sanaa Governorate, as part of the athletic competitions organized by the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office under the supervision of the Supreme and Subcommittees for Summer Activities and Courses.
During the opening ceremony, Abdulmohsen Al-Sharif, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, emphasized the importance of sports activities alongside educational and cultural programs in enhancing students' skills and abilities, contributing to building a generation equipped with knowledge and learning.
In the tournament's opening match, the team from Al-Shaheed Al-Samad Model School in Madina Izla, Jihana, defeated Al-Nasr School team from Al-Masna'a-Asnaf with a score of 5-0.
