Gaza – Saba:

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released footage on Monday of a complex ambush dubbed "Breaking the Sword," carried out two days ago against a Zionist force east of Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip. The ambush killed an enemy soldier and the wounded several others.

The video showed a number of al-Qassam Brigades fighters emerging from a tunnel in an open area on al-Awda Street (Jakr) east of Beit Hanoun, before attacking a Storm military jeep with an anti-tank missile, firing at it from point zero, causing it to overturn with its occupants.

According to al-Qassam, the support force that rushed to the scene was targeted with a 3-mm anti-personnel explosive device.

A newly constructed enemy position was also targeted with four RPGs and several mortar shells.

Jakar Street, where the Qassam Brigades ambush occurred, is located just 300 meters from the border with the Gaza Strip. It is under complete Israeli control and within the borders that the occupation army declared to be included in the buffer zone, extending approximately one kilometer into the Gaza Strip.
