Hamas: Enemy continues policy of slow killing of prisoners, which requires accountability

Gaza - Saba:

Hamas has accused the Zionist enemy of continuing its policy of slow killing of Palestinian prisoners, the latest of whom was prisoner Nasser Khalil Radaideh (49 years old) from Bethlehem, who passed away after his health deteriorated during his detention in Ofer Prison due to torture and medical neglect.

Hamas said in a press statement on Sunday, "As we mourn the heroic prisoner, we affirm that the tragic conditions our prisoners are experiencing inside the enemy's prisons are a violation of all international and humanitarian conventions and constitute war crimes that require all free people of the world to intervene, pressure the enemy, and hold its criminal leaders accountable."

It emphasized that the enemy's brutality against prisoners will only bring it more anger and blows from our people and our resistance, which will remain committed to the covenant of freedom with the brave prisoners until their release from the enemy's prisons.

Hamas renewed its call to all humanitarian and human rights organizations to take action with all its might. It assumes its responsibility towards our prisoners, and calls on the masses of our people in the West Bank to activate all means of support and assistance for our valiant prisoners and to intensify all forms of resistance.
