The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas," announced on Friday that its fighters confirmed, after returning from the battle lines, that they had lured a Zionist force near a booby-trapped tunnel shaft in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Brigades said in a military statement that its fighters lured a Zionist force near the booby-trapped tunnel shaft. Immediately after the force arrived at the location and a number of soldiers descended into it, the tunnel shaft was detonated with several explosive devices, resulting in the deaths and injuries of several members of the force. The attack occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also confirmed that its fighters detonated three high-explosive devices on two Israeli D9 bulldozers on Wednesday afternoon in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
