Gaza-Saba:
Five Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured on Saturday as a result of Israeli shelling of Khan Yunis and Gaza.
Local Palestinian sources reported that an Israeli drone fired a missile at a charitable food pantry in the Qatawa refugee camp, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing three citizens and wounding others.
The same sources added that a drone bombed an apartment building in central Khan Yunis, killing a Palestinian citizen and wounding his wife and child.
They also indicated that enemy artillery shelled Al-Sikka Street in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, killing a Palestinian woman.
Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Abu Atta family in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, killing and wounding a number of civilians.
Enemy artillery also shelled the center of Rafah city, as well as the Araiba area and its surroundings north of the city.
Palestinian medical sources announced the death of a young Palestinian man from wounds he had previously sustained in an Israeli bombing of the town of Al-Nasr, northeast of Rafah.
The death toll from Palestinian casualties in the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,609, and the number of injuries to 115,063 since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
