The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a double strike using HIMARS missiles on the Sudzha gas metering station, destroying the station.
According to Sputnik News Agency on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that over the past 24 hours, the Kyiv regime continued its attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, using various types of drones, as well as the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.
The statement added, "On March 28, the Kyiv regime launched an attack using HIMARS missiles, according to preliminary information, on the Sudzha gas metering station, which led to a major fire and the near-destruction of the energy facility."
The statement continued that on the morning of March 28, Russian air defense systems in the Saratov region shot down 19 Ukrainian attack drones, whose target was the Saratov oil refinery infrastructure.
