The Palestinian Freedom Movement mourned the death of Abdul Latif al-Qanou, spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), on Thursday, following a bombing that targeted his tent in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement on Thursday, Al-Ahrar said that the enemy's persistent targeting of civilian, political, and media personnel confirms its military bankruptcy on the battlefield and the extent and bloodiness of this war against the Palestinian people. This war aims to achieve the greatest possible level of civilian death and destruction to pressure the resistance.
The Movement stated that "these attacks will not weaken the resolve of our people, nor will they shake the unity and containment of the popular support for the mujahedeen. Rather, they will increase our determination to expand containment and to continue fighting the enemy, defending our land and holy sites, and expelling them."
Abdul Latif al-Qanou, spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), was martyred at midnight on Thursday in a Zionist airstrike that targeted his tent in the northern Gaza Strip.
