The Higher Committee for Examinations, chaired by Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi, discussed on Monday preparations for the implementation of the general certificate exams for the basic and secondary stages for the academic year 1446 AH.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, discussed the achievement reports of the local and central testing committees.
Acting Undersecretary of the Curriculum and Guidance Sector, Hamid Ghathaya, and Head of the Secret Press, Abdullah Al-Asami, reviewed the achievement level and mechanisms to overcome any difficulties that may face the progress of the testing process.
In the meeting, Minister Al-Saadi emphasized the ministry's keenness and its serious endeavor to provide the capabilities and needs for the success of the general certificate exams, despite the exceptional circumstances the country is going through as a result of the US aggression. He urged the need for everyone to join efforts to make the general exams a success, as this is a national responsibility.
